Harvest : picking begins during the first ten days of September. Hand picking and selection in the vineyard and transport to the cantina in small (20 kg) crates.
Wine making : fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature (28°-30° C), with a long maceration period (15-20 days) and the alternation of the wine to maintain a damp must in fermentation. This is done to enhance the extraction of of natural colouring and noble tannin.
Rectification : 12 months in french oak barriques.
Colour : Intense ruby red with purple reflections.
Aroma : Intense, full and elegant with hints of rasberry and wood fruits. Winey when young it develops spicy overtones with ageing.
Flavour : Full bodied, sapid and generous. Well structured with a pleasent persistence.
Serving temperature : 16 - 18°C
Alcohol : 13,5%
