| The hills around Trevi, covered with century old olive trees and
interspersed with small medieval villages basking in the peace
and tranquility of the countryside. Old farmhouses, towers, abbeys,
convents and fortresses built over the centuries amidst the silver-green
of the olives offer the possibility of holidays far from the city's
confusion, but near to the centres of historical, cultural and
artistic interest.
Antico Casolare stands in its own grounds, with pretty gardens, fruit and olive trees surrounding the swimming pool.
It is close to the old church of Pigge and other village houses. After swimming in the pool (4 m. x 8 m.), you can relax in the gardens, on the patios and in the shade of an old almond tree. There are barbecue facilities.
Five minutes away by car, Trevi has a good range of shops, restaurants, banks and a fantastic children's playground.

The expensive restoration has created three independent apartments.
There is "Antico Casolare", a large spacious apartment (125 sq.m.)
on the first floor, which rented together with "Primavera", a
one room apartment on the ground floor, provides accommodation
for up to 8 people. The price quoted for Antico Casolare 6 people
is just for Antico Casolare, the price quoted for Antico Casolare
8 people is for Antico Casolare (first floor) and Primavera (ground
floor) together.
The third apartment on the ground floor, with independent entrance
and garden, is occupied by a young couple, Marco and Solange who
look after the house gardens and swimming pool.
Antico Casolare is on the first floor and comprises of a kitchen with fireplace, oven, dishwasher and washing machine, a large living-dining room also with original fireplace, 2 double bedded rooms, one twin bedded room, a bathroom with bathtub, central heating, satellite TV covered terrace, private parking space in side the grounds. The apartment is reached by an external staircase and can accommodate 6 people.
Primavera is a 38 sq.m. one room apartment on the ground floor. It comprises of a large room with a cooking corner, a double bed, sofa and armchair, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, central heating and satellite TV This apartment provides accommodation for two persons and can only be rented together with Antico Casolare.

The house gardens are bordered by plants, flowers and a low wall
of natural stone and terracotta.

The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the guests.

| The house has been refurbished and modernised, however, by paying
attention to detail and reusing the original stones and tiles,
the original features and charm have been maintained. |

The town of Trevi is 4 km. away and can offer a public swimming
pool, tennis courts and a theatre. During the summer months various
festivals and occasions are organised, of particular merit is
the "ottobre treviano" concentrating on the olive oil produced
in the area.
The area is particularly suited to cycling, being well served
by cycle hire shops for spares and repairs and the flat terrain
around Trevi, Spoleto and Bevagna provide many roads and paths
for the cyclists' pleasure, in particular a pathway along 40 km.

There are several stables nearby that offer guided tours through
the more inaccessible countryside.
Being very well placed for transport the house makes an ideal
base for an exploring holiday.
Both Rome and Florence are within 2 hrs. train journey, and the
culturally important cities of Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Spoleto,
Todi, and Gubbio are within 30 min. drive. |

By train : From the south, take the Roma-Ancona line to Spoleto then call us.
From the North, take the Firenze-Foligno line to Foligno and call us. We will collect you
By Car :
From the North. Take the motorway Firenze Roma, exit Valdichiana, follow signs to Perugia, at Perugia follow
signs for Assisi-Foligno-Spoleto. Continue on towards Spoleto
and take the exit for Borgo Trevi. Call us.
From the South :
Motorway Roma-Firenze, exit at Orte and follow signs for Spoleto-Foligno, exit at Borgo
Trevi and call us.
